another year down

And I'm nearly 23. On Friday, to be exact.
I'm looking forward to my birthday. They are always fun and exciting, and I have a good day planned out. And the birthday party!!!
But I'm not looking forward to being older. That's what scares me. Always getting older, and my life having not turned out exactly how I would have liked it to be.
But I'm not going to complain too much, as I know there are people out there with lives worse off then mine, but I would not say no to a job right now. And I'm really keen for a hairdressers apprenticeship. I just need to find one!!! Argh!!!
But anyway, my birthday. Mum is taking me out for breakfast to Diggies. yumyumyum!!! I might go for a swim, or a run along the beach, go to the gym, and then pole dance at 6.30 pm.
Then I will be going home for AMAZING spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread, and a movie marathon by myself in my bedroom.
Saturday night I will be partying!!! There is going to be a bit of a house party in the apartment (which mum is getting enough food for to feed an army!), and then into town to dance the night away. So I'm hoping it will be good a night, as I don't want to cry on my birthday (as I've done that too many times in the past...)

January 2010

So I know its 8 days into February, but last month was pretty amazing!!!
January was 12 months since I had been taken off all my anti-anxiety meds and I think I'm going really well. I still have my down days, but I tend to get out of them quicker then before, and I'm feeling a whole lot happier with myself (minus a few things that are out of my control).
January 11 also marked the date of 3 years since the car accident, and 13 months since the hip surgery from the injury I got from the accident - I still get quite alot of pain, but I start going to the pain clinic on March 11, which I hopes goes good and that they can help me deal with my pain better.

Onto better things. I had a bit of a Summer fling. Sure, it was all drunken meetings and doings, but I had fun, and I think it was good for me, as last year I just wasn't happy with myself and didn't want to get involved in any way what so ever with a guy. But now I'm feeling better about myself, I can do these things and it's fun :) Even though it may be a little sad when it ends. But it didn't end in a bad for me, which is what I'm happy about.

I went out heaps with my friends and had great times. NYE, Nats second NYE, Australia Day, a trip to the Powerhouse Museum for the 80's Exhibition, Australia Day parties, and drinking an entire bottle of Absolut in one month (I'm not sure if thats something to be proud about...). And starting pole dancing! I'm having so much fun at pole, and I'm planning on continuing on after this six week course.

And now it's already February. I swear each year goes faster then the last, as it's already nearly my birthday!!! I'm getting older, and I'm not too keen on it, even though one of my good friends told me that 23 is a really fun age - so I'm hoping to have a lot of fun this year. And I'm having a birthday party!!! I love birthday parties :) I'm going bake my own cupcakes (and my mum is going to do the icing), so I've got a fair few friends coming over to my house to party, and then into town to dance the night away. I'm actually looking forward to it.

I had a job interview last Tuesday, and I should hear back next week about a job trial. It's for a hairdressers apprenticeship. I really want this apprenticeship. It's in a great place, and close to public transport, and close to home, which is always good. Ive changed my mind, again, about what career choice to take, and I'm currently set on becoming a hairdresser again. I have another job interview for an apprentice hairdresser tomorrow - this one I don't really want, but I'm going to the interview anyway, just to see what it's like, and to continue to improve my interview skills. I just really hope I get a job soon, as I get bored just always sitting at home, or going into town and just looking at clothes I want that are generally too expensive for me. I want to earn my own money. I want to save to go overseas. I want to save money so I can safely move out when I'm ready.

Now, I'm just hoping February is as good as January was (minus the whole fighting with mum). And I think it will be :)

do guys read pornographic literature???

I got this text message from a guy last night -
"As ur heart thuds with every thrust of my erect cock. Your left leg starts to quiver as you finally realise the feeling of a multiple orgasm, u scream no - i dont listen, a feeling of light headiness comes over you since the sensation all over your body is tingling - u gasp for air as u have forgotten to breath. I slip my finger into your soaking vagina, i tickle your g-spot u scream an twitch beg me to stop still i dont listen... An now your just going to have to find out how this story ends"

I didn't reply, as I was too busy pissing myself laughing. And coming from a guy who I met when I was wasted, I really don't think I want to find out how that story ends. As it is never going to end. It will just be another hilarious text from some random guy who I made out with at some stage of my drunken night.

Pole Dancing

So I'm finally doing pole dancing lessons, and it is amazing!!!
I've been wanting to do lessons for quite a while, but according to Melissa, it's a form of dancing just for women to get naked and to turn on men, and if I were to do pole dancing, she would stop speaking to me. Now that we are no longer friends, I can do pole dancing, for the real reason - to get fit and to have fun, and to try out a different sort of dancing.
I know pole dancing is nothing about getting naked and just to turn on men.
Pole dancing is about strength - a lot of strength. I'm already bruised from my first lesson, and my arms are feeling a little sore. I think the last time I got an arm work out that good was when I used to do trapeze. But seriously, so much strength is needed to do pole dancing. You have to hold your self up on the pole with just your arms or legs. And it is also so much fun!
Sure, you have to wear really short shorts, but if you were to wear pants, you would just slide right off the pole.
Proper pole dancing, is tasteful, and it looks amazing. I'm hoping I can get really good and move up to higher levels. I've started with the beginners class - which is a six week course, and right now, I'm definitely wanting to do another six week course once this one is done.

I'm already looking forward to next Friday, and to more bruises, and more sore muscles.

NYE, 2009/2010

best. night. ever.

even the day was good. sure, I had to go see my GP, but I went into town after the appointment and Josh and Nicole spotted me, so I hung out with them for half the day, and made plans to go to Rach/Kim/Nat/Heidi's house for around 7.30 pm for pre-drinks, before seeing the fireworks and partying into the morning.

went and bought a new bottle of vodka, as my 1L bottle was pretty much empty. got ready and used some of my new nail polish that I got for christmas. (it's so pretty on!).
met Nicole and Josh on the shuttle bus on the way to Rach's and gave Nicole her alcohol I picked up for her, then walked to Rachels and started drinking and partying (and introducing Josh and Nicole to everyone, as they didn't know them).

after drinking and talking (and spewing) at the house for a few hour, we decided it was time to go down to the harbour for the fireworks. We got the shuttle bus there, and from what I remember, it was pretty much a party bus. got to the harbour and sat down in a park and waited for the fireworks to start, and still drinking!!!
the fireworks finally started and it was fun and pretty. so good. i somewhat enjoy seeing explosions in the sky.

after the fireworks had ended, we walked into town to go to Glasshouse. I don't remember much of the walk, but I do remember drinking pulse's and vodka cranberries, and I saw Kira and Julie, which was fun!
once all the alcohol had been drunk (except for my flask bottle of vodka, which was in my bag the entire night), it was time to go into Glasshouse and party!!! (and pee, I remember needing to pee so so so so so bad!!!)

lots of dancing was done, more drinking was done, lots of socialising was done. at one stage, a few of us went to Oporto's for a feed, and I made friends with the manager. talked to lots of people on the street, which is always fun. after eating, Nicole and Josh decided it was time for them to go home, so me and Heidi went back to Glasshouse to continue partying the night away. more dancing, more drinking and more socialising was done. all in all, it was an amazing night.
by the time Glasshouse decided to close, everyone drunk, and spewing was done (not by me), and then it was time to wait (forever) for a taxi.

I finally made it home, safe and in one piece, and nothing had been lost, I'm guessing around 3.30 - 4 am. I guess I made some toast, as when I decided to go into the lounge room today, there was a napkin and toast crusts on the coffee table.

I also had quite a good morning - minus the severe lack of sleep (which I still haven't caught up on), but I'm not complaining. I thought it was a really great morning. I hope he thought so aswell.

I got heaps of photos, most of which I don't remember taking. I will post up a few later during the week. or even later tonight.

ps. 1 month, 19 days till my birthday

best

ever.
from what I can remember.
I would like more, please.

& all the pain went away. I couldn't feel it. It was some of the best hours of this year. & I would like some more, but my fingers aren't crossed.
