NYE, 2009/2010

best. night. ever.

even the day was good. sure, I had to go see my GP, but I went into town after the appointment and Josh and Nicole spotted me, so I hung out with them for half the day, and made plans to go to Rach/Kim/Nat/Heidi's house for around 7.30 pm for pre-drinks, before seeing the fireworks and partying into the morning.

went and bought a new bottle of vodka, as my 1L bottle was pretty much empty. got ready and used some of my new nail polish that I got for christmas. (it's so pretty on!).
met Nicole and Josh on the shuttle bus on the way to Rach's and gave Nicole her alcohol I picked up for her, then walked to Rachels and started drinking and partying (and introducing Josh and Nicole to everyone, as they didn't know them).

after drinking and talking (and spewing) at the house for a few hour, we decided it was time to go down to the harbour for the fireworks. We got the shuttle bus there, and from what I remember, it was pretty much a party bus. got to the harbour and sat down in a park and waited for the fireworks to start, and still drinking!!!
the fireworks finally started and it was fun and pretty. so good. i somewhat enjoy seeing explosions in the sky.

after the fireworks had ended, we walked into town to go to Glasshouse. I don't remember much of the walk, but I do remember drinking pulse's and vodka cranberries, and I saw Kira and Julie, which was fun!
once all the alcohol had been drunk (except for my flask bottle of vodka, which was in my bag the entire night), it was time to go into Glasshouse and party!!! (and pee, I remember needing to pee so so so so so bad!!!)

lots of dancing was done, more drinking was done, lots of socialising was done. at one stage, a few of us went to Oporto's for a feed, and I made friends with the manager. talked to lots of people on the street, which is always fun. after eating, Nicole and Josh decided it was time for them to go home, so me and Heidi went back to Glasshouse to continue partying the night away. more dancing, more drinking and more socialising was done. all in all, it was an amazing night.
by the time Glasshouse decided to close, everyone drunk, and spewing was done (not by me), and then it was time to wait (forever) for a taxi.

I finally made it home, safe and in one piece, and nothing had been lost, I'm guessing around 3.30 - 4 am. I guess I made some toast, as when I decided to go into the lounge room today, there was a napkin and toast crusts on the coffee table.

I also had quite a good morning - minus the severe lack of sleep (which I still haven't caught up on), but I'm not complaining. I thought it was a really great morning. I hope he thought so aswell.

I got heaps of photos, most of which I don't remember taking. I will post up a few later during the week. or even later tonight.

ps. 1 month, 19 days till my birthday
